Matthew Wong is a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology (2017). He has developed and updated multiple ear training programs used by students in RIT's Audio Engineering courses, and is currently performing research into 3D audio technologies. His work experiences include Software Development Intern at IBM (2013-2014), Research Assistant (2016), and Teaching Assistant (2014-2016) for Fundamentals of Audio Engineering and Modern Audio Production courses. He has volunteered as an A/V Staff member for multiple regional sci-fi and gaming conventions (with up to 15,000 attendees) since 2009.
He is the current Vice Chair of the AES RIT Section, and an IEEE member.
His audio-related interests include recording, live sound, signal processing, DJing, singing, 3D audio, and product development.
