Bob is a re-recording mixer and sound designer working in the television and film industry for more than twenty five years.
In addition to mixing twelve seasons of Deadliest Catch, his credits include ABC’s The Family, Unlocking the Truth, Storage Wars, The Colony, 1000 Ways to Die, American Masters: Marlon Brando, Carol Burnette & Bob Newhart, What We Carry and the feature documentary The Wrecking Crew.
He’s received twelve Primetime Emmy nominations with two wins in addition to four CAS award wins and two MPSE Golden Reels.
He has served many terms on the Television Academy's Sound Peer Group executive committee (currently on the Awards Committee) and the Board of Directors for the Cinema Audio Society. He also regularly speaks and teaches master classes at universities around the country to share insight and promote the craft of sound mixing to future mixers.
