Lon creates sound for motion pictures and an array of mediums, including commercials, Broadway shows, and corporate logos. He has implemented director’s visions and brought expanded meaning to their images and stories. Lon has 4 Oscar nominations, most recently for The Revenant. His creative achievements have garnered 2 BAFTA Awards (The Revenant, Braveheart) and an Oscar (Braveheart). Lon’s greatest joy is bringing stories and action to life through putting sound to moving images!
As an Inventor Lon won a AMPAS Scientific Achievement award for the ADE system. Lon also holds a US Patent for Wireless Local Area Networks for the Hearing Impaired.
