Mr. Shoken Kaneko received the B. Eng. degree in electronic engineering from University of Tokyo in 2008. He received the M. Sci. degree in physics from Radboud University Nijmegen in 2010. He is a research engineer at Yamaha Corporation since 2011. He has been developing signal processing systems for virtual 3D audio and 3D sound field reproduction. He is currently working on ear shape modeling, individualization of spatial acoustics, and its application to virtual / augmented reality. His research interests include computational physics, man-machine interaction / interfaces, virtual / augmented reality, computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
