TT3 - Opéra Bastille
Abstract:
Opéra Bastille is the grand, modern opera venue in Paris. Opened in 1989 it offers space for 2700 spectators, all of which can enjoy the performance without sightline obstruction. It is used mainly for opera performances, tailored stage machinery helps create the perfect illusion: With 9 stages the largest stage area of any opera house, Bastille truly enables parallel work on different productions. Mr. Hugue from the Technical Direction and Mr. Dupont from the Sound Departement of the Opéra National will lead the tour. Acoustical explanation will be given by W. Lachenmayr, Müller-BBM.
