AES Standards Meetings
The AES Standards Committee (AESSC) is the organization responsible for conducting the AES Standards Program. It develops and publishes a number of technical standards, information documents and technical reports within the field of professional audio technology.
Published documents are available at: http://www.aes.org/publications/standards/
Working groups with a fully international membership are engaged in writing standards covering fields that include:
- Digital Audio, Networks and File Transfer
- Acoustics
- Audio Interconnections
- Audio Metadata
Membership in AES Standards working groups is open to all individuals directly and materially affected by the scope and actions of these bodies.
Complete information, including scopes of working groups and project status, is available at: http://www.aes.org/standards
THERE WILL BE NO STANDARDS COMMITTEE MEETINGS DURING THIS CONVENTION
Because the standards manager will be unavailable during this period, it has been decided not to hold standards working group meetings at the AES 140th Convention in Paris, 2016-06. It may be possible to hold some less-formal Task Group meetings - if you are a member of a task group with currently-active work, please check for emailed information.
We expect to resume a normal program of meetings at the AES 141st Convention in Los Angeles, 2016-09.
