Owner of ir. bureau Vanderveen ( audio electronic research and development ). Focus of his company is on audio signal toroidal output transformers for valve amplifiers. Author of several books and various AES-papers about this subject. Former president of the Dutch section of the AES. He has an "every two weeks" Saturday school (TubeSociety) where he shares his knowledge and experience. As a result several of his students started their own company. Menno's passion for valve amps started with the need for good amplification of his electric Jazz-guitars.
