Guillaume Fuchs

Guillaume Fuchs is a Senior Scientist at Fraunhofer IIS. He received his Engineering Degree from INSA of Rennes, France, in 2001 and his Ph.D from the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, in 2006, both in electrical engineering. From 2001 to 2003, he worked on digital image compression as research engineer at Canon Research, France. From 2003 to 2006, he worked on speech coding with VoiceAge, Canada, as scientific collaborator. In 2006, he joined Fraunhofer IIS, and since then, has been working on developing speech and audio coders for different standards. His main research interests include speech and audio source coding as well as speech analysis.
