Felix Albu received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees
in electrical engineering from the Politehnica
University of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania, in
1993 and 1999, respectively. From 1993 to 1999 he was a Teaching Assistant, and from 2003 to 2005, he was an Associate Lecturer at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, Politehnica University of Bucharest. From 1999 to 2002, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at
University College Dublin, Dublin, Ireland. He also
worked in 2003 as a DSP Engineer at Lake Communications,
Dublin. From May 2004 to February 2005, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Informatics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece. From 2006 to 2011 he has been a Research Engineer
at Fotonation Romania SRL, Bucharest, Romania. Since 2011 he is an Associate Professor at Valahia University of Targoviste, Romania. His research interests are
speech/image processing, adaptive filtering, multichannel active noise control algorithms, neural networks, and machine learning.
