I studied Music, Media and Performance Technology at the University of Limerick under the Digital Media and Research centre located there. The course incorporated everything from web design to film-making to the digital arts. From this I developed a keen interest in Film and Television post-production and spent 9 months working in Telegael in the West of Ireland. Here I worked largely on sound design for children's television programmes. The course allowed me to explore the vast range of options for people with an interest in the media industry. My presence at this conference is a culmination of that interest, which will hopefully act as the foundation of my future career in the industry.
