Christer P. Volk received a B.Eng. degree in Electronics and Computer engineering from the Engineering College of Copenhagen in 2009. He studied acoustics, focusing on psychoacoustics, at the Technical University of Denmark, where he obtained an M.Eng. degree in Engineering Acoustics. For four years he was an assessor in an expert listening panel assessing a large variety of audio products. In September 2013 he started on an industrial PhD at DELTA SenseLab in collaboration with Aalborg University focusing on modelling the link between audio metrics and perceptual attributes.
