Liyun Pang got her master degree in Communications Engineering at Technical University Munich, Germany in 2006. Then she pursued doctoral degree studies in Quality of Experience (QoE) enhancement of speech communication at Klagenfurt University. From 2007 to 2009, she worked in Nokia Siemens networks in Munich as research assistant for speech applications in LTE mobile networks. From 2010 to 2012, she worked in Huawei European research center as research assistant for the development of 3GPP Enhanced Voice Service (EVS) codec. In 2012, she joined Huawei as 3D audio research engineer. In particular, her expertise lies in Voice over IP, Voice quality prediction and control, jitter buffer management, speech quality assessment and binaural processing.
