Etienne Corteel

Etienne Corteel has received a Ph. D. degree in acoustics and signal processing from Paris 6 University, France in 2004 that was completed at IRCAM between 2002 and 2004.
He is working for sonic emotion since 2006 and occupies the position of CTO since early 2015. He is coordinating the Edison 3D project (2013-2017) funded by the French National Agency of Research that include Sonic Emotion Labs, Radio France, Télécom Paristech, Ecole Polytechnique, the university of Western Brittany and b<>com.
His activities include the research and development of new technologies and products for 3D sound rendering targeting consumer (soundbars, headphones, TVs) and professional applications (Wave I processor and environment for Live, Clubs and audio production).
