Toni Hirvonen received his Masters and PhD degrees from the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland (now Aalto University). There, he specialized in psychoacoustics and audio signal processing. From 2008 to 2010 he was a post-doctoral fellow in FORTH-ICS, Greece. Since 2010 he has worked for Dolby Sweden. His current research includes spatial audio reproduction and analysis, audio coding, machine learning, and other topics.
