Tim Walton is a PhD student at Newcastle University and BBC Research & Development, investigating the quality of experience of 3D audio. He received a BSc in Physics and Music Technology from Keele University in 2012 and an MSc(Eng) in Engineering Acoustics from the Technical University of Denmark in 2014, where his research was focussed on spherical microphone arrays. He is an AES student member.
