Dave Pentecost is Director of Technology for the Lower Eastside Girls Club, Airstream WGRL Recording Studio in NYC. He spent 20 years at the broadcast and cable television networks, pioneering the move from tape to nonlinear editing and working on over 400 documentary, science and news programs as editor and producer. He then escaped to the jungles of southern Mexico where he worked with archaeologists, anthropologists and ecologists in the Lacandon Maya rainforest. Back in New York, Dave joined his wife’s nonprofit to help design and build a 30,000 square foot facility which includes the East Village Planetarium; a biology lab; art, music and design studios; a teaching kitchen, bakery and cafe.
