Born in Buenos Aires and based in New York, Daniel Freiberg is an in-demand producer, composer, arranger, pianist and recording/mixing engineer.
He was awarded two Grammys in 2014 for his mixing work on Paquito D’Rivera’s Best Latin Jazz Album “Song For Maura” (where Freiberg is also the composer of one of the tracks) and two 2015 Latin Grammy nominations for his mixing work on “History Of Tango” by Berta Rojas & Camerata Bariloche and “Jazz Meets The Classics” by Paquito D’Rivera.
Freiberg's composing, arranging, performing and production work graces several Grammy awarded albums across a variety of music styles. In addition to recent film scoring assignments, his latest orchestral composition “Latin American Chronicles For Clarinet And Orchestra” was recently recorded by the Cologne Radio Orchestra at WDR studios, Germany and mixed by Freiberg himself.
