Jesse Lauter is a music producer, engineer, mixer, and guitar player, who has worked with Langhorne Slim, Elvis Perkins, The Low Anthem, Ingrid Michaelson, Lenny Kaye (Patti Smith Group), Pussy Riot, Ivan & Alyosha, James Blood Ulmer, Blind Pilot, Marco Benevento, Sam Cohen, Diego Garcia, Jessi Colter, The Melodic, Ian Axel (A Great Big World), Alela Diane, Bobby Long, Surprise Me Mr. Davis (Nathan Moore & The Slip), Pete Francis (Dispatch), Dawes, Scott Litt (Producer- REM, Nirvana), among others.

He was the executive producer of Bob Dylan In The 80s: Volume One, a tribute album to Bob Dylan’s overlooked 1980s catalog, featuring Gene Ween & Slash, Glen Hansard, Built To Spill, Craig Finn (The Hold Steady), Reggie Watts, Deer Tick, Carl Broemel (My Morning Jacket), Blitzen Trapper, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Lucius, and Widespread Panic.

He is currently directing and producing a documentary about the Mad Dogs & Englismen reunion featuring the Tedeschi-Trucks Band, Leon Russell, Chris Robinson, Rita Coolidge, and Warren Haynes.
