Francis Rumsey is chair of the AES Technical Council and consultant technical writer/editor of the AES Journal. Until 2009 he was a Professor at the Institute of Sound Recording, University of Surrey, Guildford, where he specialised in sound quality, spatial audio and psychoacoustics.
