Eric Tarr is an Assistant Professor of Audio Engineering Technology at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. He received a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. from the Ohio State University in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received a B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in Music from Capital University. He enjoys recording, mixing, writing, and producing music. His interests in audio engineering also include digital signal processing, acoustic and electronic system modeling, and auditory perception. His research has focused on the perception of speech signals and the development of signal processing methods to improve speech intelligibility for listeners with auditory prostheses.
