Robi Hersberger, Project Engineer, WSDG, Basel, graduated from the University of Basel with a B.Sc. in Physics in 2009. His first contact with audio was through guitars and rehearsal rooms where he spent hours experimenting with methods for improving sound quality. Following graduation, Robi worked on a variety of freelance audio event and performance projects. His fascination with audio engineering and sound in general continued to grow. His focus on the field of acoustics, background in Physics and passion for good audio, led him to a career in acoustics. He joined WSDG in Basel as an intern in 2010 and he now works as Project Engineer where he applies his skills in acoustical measurements and predictions with simulations on a variety of challenging projects.
