Pierre Lecomte was born in Nancy, France, in 1989.
He graduated from mechanical engineering school Arts et Métiers, Paris, France in 2012.
In 2011-2012, he received a M.Sc in Engineering from École Centrale Paris, France. The majors included structual dynamics, vibrations, acoustics. In 2013-2014 he received a M.Sc in Computer Science from University Paris VI and IRCAM, Paris France. Majors included, acoustics, signal processing, computer science applied to music. Currently, he is doing a Ph.D. degree in collaboration with Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers, Paris, France and Université de Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Québec, Canada. The topic is dealing with 3D sound field synthesis using Ambisonics technologies.
