The author graduated in Electroacoustics from The University of Salford in England in 1996. Since then he has been engaged in loudspeaker research and development and particularly the development of active loudspeaker systems for Bang & Olufsen in Denmark where the author lives with his family. During his professional career, the author has published several papers for the IOA and AES including subjects such as programme material analysis, thermal modelling and simulation of loudspeakers and atmospheric influences on acoustic measurements. In recent years, the author has moved into automotive acoustics and the development of future high-end vehicle sound systems for Bang & Olufsen Automotive for Harman International. The authors' favourite pastimes are mountain climbing and live sound mixing.
