Bjørn Kolbrek received a Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering from Høgskolen I Telemark in 2002, and worked from 2003 to 2010 as a R&D engineer for Scana Mar-El, Norway. In 2009 he started part-time on a 2-year Master’s degree in Acoustics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). From 2011 to 2013 he was part of the Integrated PhD program at NTNU, completing the first year of the PhD while finishing the MSc degree in 2013. He is now a full-time PhD candidate at the NTNU Acoustics Group, under the supervision of U. Peter Svensson.
