Abstract:
Polskie Radio S.A. is the national publicly funded radio broadcasting organization in Poland. It was founded on 18 August 1925 and celebrates its 90th anniversary. Polskie Radio broadcasts eight channels nationwide from Warsaw in AM-LW, FM, DAB+ and the internet, from the brand new broadcasting studios with the great look, excelent acoustics and modern audio – video technology. This broadcast station in its main offices in Warsaw has three concert studios - the greatest Concert Studio of Polskie Radio named Witold Lutoslawski with the audience of over 400 seats and fantastic acoustics known as one of the best in this part of Europe. There are also a few music studios available for recordings of classical music – S2 Studio and pop music – S3, S4 Studios, with Solid State Logic consoles, Pro Tolls HD recording systems, and ATC, B&W monitoring systems. In Polskie Radio work also four radio drama studios, with the greatest – S7 Studio in which acoustic effects are recorded in 5.1 channels digital technology. The tour will be led by Radoslaw Smolinski - the acoustics designer of new broadcasting studios in Polskie Radio.
