Jaroslaw Yaro Plocica is a music producer and mixing/recording engineer who works in his own Jazzda Music studio in Warsaw. In the late 90s and early 00s he was also a performing pop/hip-hop artist under the stage name of Yaro. His first record deal was with Polish jazzman Michal Urbaniak's New York based record label UBX Inc. His two main hit singles Rowery Dwa and Olewka, released by EMI Poland, gained nationwide recognition and were nominated for the Fryderyki Polish music industry awards. He then moved to focus on producing, composing, recording and mixing for other artists, which gave birth to massive Polish hit singles (and records) Zakrecona (Reni Jusis) and Lepszy Model (Kasia Klich) which won several Fryderyki awards. Another example is Impreza by Liroy. Since 2001 he's been involved in a side project called Cmy, which is a producer/scratch DJ duet that is described as quasi-instrumental, foggy, jazzy hip-hop.
