Winfried Lachenmayr (Dipl.-Tonmeister Mag. Art) graduated with honors from the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Austria, in 2013.
Work experiences brought him to the Building Acoustics Departement of the University for Applied Sciences Rosenheim (Germany), the Glyndebourne Opera House (UK), the Banff Centre, Canada (audio engineer and music producer scholarships in 2012 and 2013) and Mueller-BBM acoustic consulting.
Presentations include TMT2012&2014, DAGA2013&2015, his thesis led him to a concert hall tour with a real orchestra and several famous halls.
Since 2012, Winfried is active as an acoustician at renown consulting company Mueller-BBM in Munich, working mainly in the fields of concert hall- and studio acoustics.
He is currently a Marie-Curie-Fellow within the EU Batwoman Training Network and persuing his PhD at the Musikhochschule Detmold (Erich-Thienhaus-Institute) investigating on reverberation for concert spaces.
