Tadeusz Fidecki received M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications from the Warsaw University of Technology and Ph.D. degree in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics from the AGH University of Science and Technology. After graduation in year 1968 he initially worked as a research engineer at the Research Laboratory of Polish Radio and Television and then at the Institute of Radioelectronics of the Warsaw University of Technology. In 1990 Fidecki joined the Sound Engineering Department of The Fryderyk Chopin Music University where he teaches acoustics, electroacoustics and technical laboratory practicum. His research interests include room acoustics, electroacoustics and sound systems. Fidecki participated in several research grants from the Ministry of Science and Education. His last research grant was an experimental project aiming to improve the acoustic conditions in the historic halls of the Royal Castle in Warsaw with acoustical and electroacoustic means.
