Ferdinando Olivieri

Ferdinando graduated from University of Florence in 2010 with an MSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering and, in 2012, he obtained his MSc degree in Sound and Vibration Studies from the ISVR, University of Southampton.
On the same year he started his doctoral training at the ISVR, working on Digital Signal Processing for loudspeaker and microphone arrays under the supervision of Dr Filippo Fazi and Prof Philip Nelson. He is now part of the Virtual Acoustics and Audio Engineering Team in the Fluid Dynamic and Acoustics Group of ISVR and his work is in collaboration with Huawei.
Before joining ISVR, he has previously worked as a researcher at University of Florence in the field of signal processing for multichannel audio source separation and automatic transcription of music.
