Gilles Courtois

Gilles Courtois was born in Thann, France, in 1989. He received his M.Eng. in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Applied Science (INSA), Lyon, France. He is currently with the Signal Processing Laboratory (LTS2) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) as a PhD candidate. His research interests include speech and audio processing embedded in hearing aids, and technological solutions to improve intelligibility, sound localization ability and safety of hearing-impaired subjects. He is a student member of the Audio Engineering Society and the Swiss Acoustical Society.
