Rasmus Overgaard Ploug

Rasmus is a MSc student at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) studying electrical engineering. Throughout his study he has maintained a strong focus on audio engineering, acoustics and electronics. He is currently working on his master's thesis concerning switch-mode audio amplification (class-D) with Gallium-Nitride FETs which also is the topic of his AES publication at the 138th convention.
Rasmus has previously presented two papers at AES conferences concerning the origin and minimization of crosstalk in self oscillating switch-mode amplifiers.
His research interests include switch-mode audio amplification, audio perception, analog and digital signal processing, transducers and room acoustics.
