Niels Elkjær Iversen is a Ph.D student at the electronics group at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU),
Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark. He received his B.Sc degree in
electrical engineering from DTU in 2012 and completed his M.Sc education in December 2014. During his studies he has submitted several papers for AES conventions and conferences all concerning electrical aspects of audio such as amplifier design & measurement techniques. His paper entitled ”Small signal loudspeaker impedance emulator” was awarded the ”Student paper award” at the 136th AES convention in Berlin, Germany. Throughout his study his main interest has been reproduction of sound with focus of audio amplifier design, especially class-D amplifiers, and electric acoustic transducers with focus on loudspeaker design and modelling.
