Philippe Gournay is an Adjunct Professor at the Universite de Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, and a Senior Researcher for VoiceAge, Montreal (QC), Canada. He received his Engineering Degree in electrical engineering from the ENSSAT engineering school, France, in 1991 and his Ph.D. in signal processing and telecommunications from the Universite de Rennes I, France, in 1994. His current research interests are in speech and audio coding and speech enhancement.
