DENG, Zhiyong Ph.D., an member of I-INCE and AES, birth in Liuzhou, Guangxi, CHINA in Jan. 1978, a senior lecturer and postgraduate supervisor in Music College of Capital Normal University (Beijing, CHINA), an academic visitor in School of Architecture in University of Sheffield (Sheffield, UK) from Sept. 2014 to Sept. 2015, and a visiting scholar in Music Science and Technology Research Program of Music Department in Tulane University (New Orleans, LA, US) from Dec. 2010 to May 2011. June 2008 at Communication University of China (Beijing, CHINA) received his Ph.D. degree in audio engineering, July 2004 at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (Hong Kong, CHINA) received a Professional Diploma in Technique Arts, and July 2003 at South China University of Technology (Guangzhou, CHINA) received a master degree in architectural acoustics. From 2006 to 2010, he totally published 8 papers in the international academic conferences, and 3 papers in the professional journals, with one retrieved by EI and another one won a national award-winning paper; hosted or participated many projects, included two supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the sound system designs for Beijing Olympic Games and Shanghai World Expo. He also issued his first soundscape music piece named Morning Chanting in June 2010. He teaches courses for Recording Arts majors in CNU, included Mathematics and Physics, Music Acoustics and Sound Design. Musical acoustics, computer music, soundscape and building noise control are involved in his researches, while sound design and theater production are also quite interesting for him.
