Mark Lownds has been employed in the audio and broadcast industries for over fifteen years; starting as an audio engineer then working in community radio, his technical system design skills ensured a natural transition to the commercial sector, working in one of Australia’s biggest radio networks. Some of the highlights of his career in commercial radio sector include his leadership of a team in the design and build of a National Live On Air IP Network; as well as being involved with Design and Build of DAB+ Digital Radio IP Network for multiple radio networks across Australia.
Currently, Systems Architect for Stagetec Mediagroup Australia, a division of The SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP a dynamic consortium of three enterprises that are arguably the pan-European market leaders in audio, video, and intercom technology. One of Mark’s focus is utilising the state of the art technology available to build a 300+ site Dante Network around NSW Australia.
