Stephan Mauer

Stephan Mauer is working as the Head of the Professional Audio Team at BARCO Audio Technology Group(former IOSONO GmbH), which is responsible for product and project management, customer relations and training as well as application support for immersive audio products.
Stephan received a Diploma Degree in Media Technology from the Technical University of Ilmenau where he was focusing on electro acoustics, acoustics and sound system design.
Initially, Stephan was developing speaker systems for WFS systems and was in charge of designing, commissioning and applying spatial audio systems worlwide at a later stage.
Besides expanding the fields of application of spatial audio systems he is involved in lectures, workshops and speaking at industry events.
