Robyn Gerry-Rose learned her A2 and mic’ing skills while working on the Oprah Winfrey Show in her hometown, Chicago. She has lived in Los Angeles for just over two years, and is an I.A.T.S.E. Local 695 member. She currently works on the Queen Latifah Show and also freelances for ATK (AudioTek), Creative Technology, and Delicate Productions. In Chicago, Robyn got her Bachelor degree in Live Sound Reinforcement from Columbia College in 2006. She also worked corporate shows for OSA International, TC Furlong, and Absolute Production Services.
Robyn has worked a variety of shows including live League of Legends tournaments, the Director’s Guild Awards, the Spirit Awards, The Taste of Chicago cooking demos, E3, Disney Vacation Club, and many panel discussions at the Television Academy. The fact that she lives in Los Angeles means that she also works many events where rich people eat dinner, listen to a couple of speeches, and then “dance” to a live band.
