Rupert has worked in BBC Radio for over 30 years. During this time he has led technology change on everything from valve mixing consoles to IP distribution. He made a name for himself as an innovator whilst working at the famous Maida Vale Studios and in the Radiophonic Workshop. Rupert has a strong track record for delivery of audience-facing audio innovation including listener control of the sound balance from sports events and high quality surround-sound presentation of live classical concerts. He is currently Head of Technology for BBC Radio.
