Edward has been an audio algorithm researcher and designer for 8years – focusing on topics of spatial audio, psychoacoustics, loudness/dynamics processing and automatic calibration. He is currently Principal Engineer of Audio R&D with DTS, Inc. and prior to that worked at Creative Labs Advanced Technology Center. In 2010, he started Redwood Audio to explore additional interests in Luthiery and FX design, which he shares as a growing collection of DIY resources. Edward received his MSEE in Multimedia and Creative Technologies from the University of Southern California in 2005, while serving as a researcher for the USC Institute for Creative Technologies.
