I come from a small town, Castelfranco Veneto, in Italy. I studied Electrical Engineering at Università degli Studi di Padova were I got a Bachelor in 2010. After that, I obtained a Master (MSc) in Acoustic Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2012. During this Master, I focused mainly in acoustics with a thesis on balanced armature loudspeakers. After my graduation I worked as a researcher at DTU for a short period working on loudspeaker non-linearities compensation techniques. Since May 2013, I have been working as a PhD student at KU Leuven, within the DREAMS-ITN Marie Curie Action project, focusing my research on inverse room acoustics problems and the estimation of acoustic impedance using optimization techniques.
