Geraldine Vignon received a Master degree in Electrical engineering from ENSEA School in Cergy (France) in 2007 and completes a semester in a master of acoustic in Aalborg University the following months. During her studies, she worked two month in the research team of LMA (Mechanic and acoustic laboratory) from CNRS (National research council, Marseille, France) on acoustic instrument modeling subject. She worked also 6 month in Arkamys (Paris, France) as software engineer, working on audio software development including spatialized audio technologies. Since June 2008, she has been working as a DSP system engineer for Mindspeed (Sophia-antipolis, France) developing audio digital signal processing for VOIP as acoustical echo cancellation, bandwidth extension, integration of audio codec, Packet Loss Concealment algorithm, etc.. Since January 2011, she has been working as electrical engineer for audio development of TV at Philips (Brugges, Belgium). She developed audio algorithm as dynamic treble enhancement and extend the concept used in a global Dynamic spectrum enhancement algorithm. She also works in the integration of Skype on TV. Since February 2012, she is working at NXP (Leuven, Belgium) in PL mobile audio team starting as an acoustical application engineer supporting smart amplifier integration on costumer project and promoted as an advanced acoustics engineer to conduct acoustic innovation projects up to lead costumer design-in.
