Johann-Markus Batke is Senior Scientist of Technicolor's Content Processing Laboratory. He received his Diploma from the Leibniz Universität Hannover and the PhD degree from Technische Universität Berlin before he joined Technicolor in 2005. In the laboratory's technical area Audio and Acoustics he is leader of the sound recording and production research team. His major interests are 3D audio processing for acquisition, production and replay. In particular he is interested in technologies like Higher Order Ambisonics and Binaural Synthesis.
