Christine Aufderhaar graduated in classical piano performance (Conservatory Lugano), classical composition and film scoring (Berklee College of Music, Boston). Upon completion, she has been living in Los Angeles, working within a mentorship program (SCL) with various composers, such as Alf Clausen (‚The Simpsons’), Jay Chattaway (‚Star Trek’) and Steve Bramson (‚J.A.G.’).
Christine received several awards and scholarships in Switzerland and in the US. From 2004 to 2007 she was Associate Professor at the Academy of Film and Television “HFF Konrad Wolf” in Potsdam, Babelsberg (Berlin). Since 2007 she has been working exclusively as a composer.
Her compositions have been performed worldwide.
Christine currently lives in Berlin, where she writes and produces music for film and television. She is member of the German Film Academy and a board member of the German film composer's association DEFKOM.
