Ulrik Skov was born 1970 in Aarhus, Denmark. He received his M.Sc.ME. in 2004 from the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, in Stockholm, Sweden and his B.Sc.EE. in 1996 from the Engineering College of Aarhus, Denmark.
Since 1989 he has working experience as Senior Acoustic & Simulation Engineer, Industrial Development Engineer and Project Leader at Tymphany (ScanSpeak, Vifa & Peerless), Sonion, Microsound, ABB Corporate Research and Oticon.
Based on his multidisciplinary experience and education within vibroacoustics, simulation and signal processing he founded in 2009 the Danish independent design and product development company iCapture ApS located near Copenhagen in Roskilde, Denmark. As Managing Director and Chief Engineer at iCapture he is growing a tiny unique highly specialised
technology company delivering clients the best possible Research & Development environment concerning simulation driven design and product development empowering directors, managers, manufactures, designers, developers and engineers.
iCapture works in the areas of multiphysic electromagnetics, vibroacoustics and structural dynamics.
iCapture deliver consulting, technology implementation and support/training to both small companies and large enterprises in need of significantly shorten development time, reduced cost on prototypes, improved product performance and innovation.
