After graduating from Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in music, science and technology, Daniels worked in industry researching and developing new technologies for low bit-rate audio and image coding and music applications for mobile phones. In 2009, she received her master's degree in computer music from the University of California San Diego, where she is currently a PhD candidate in computer music and a Graduate Student Researcher in the Sonic Arts Research & Development group at the Qualcomm Institute. Her research interests include audio networking, digital signal processing, and machine learning for musical applications.
