AES Standards Meetings
The AES Standards Committee (AESSC) is the organization responsible for conducting the AES Standards Program. It develops and publishes a number of technical standards, information documents and technical reports within the field of professional audio technology.

Working groups with a fully international membership are engaged in writing standards covering fields that include:
- Digital Audio, Networks and File Transfer
- Acoustics
- Audio Interconnections
- Audio Metadata
Membership in AES Standards working groups is open to all individuals directly and materially affected by the scope and actions of these bodies.

STANDARDS COMMITTEE MEETINGS during CONVENTION
Meetings of Standards Committee working groups take place in parallel with the convention. Working group meetings are open to all individuals who are materially and directly affected by the documents that may be issued under the scope of the working group. The meeting schedule will be published on the AES Standards Web site, http://www.aes.org/standards. Meetings, including Plenary meetings of the Standards Committee, are scheduled to take place in the Standards Room. The schedule is subject to changes and additions which will be published on the above Web site. Daily updates may also be obtained in the Standards Room during the convention. See the posted signs for the locations of the rooms.
