Michael Palumbo

Michael Palumbo is a computer musician and performance artist whose work explores networked performance, augmented musical instruments, and existing and emergent control structures within performance and audience interactivity. His piece Crosstalk has been presented as a lecture-recital at the 2013 Toronto Electroacoustic Symposium, Eastern Bloc’s Data:Salon, and as a performance installation at the Festival of Original Theatre. Other works include Soup Phase, a soundscape composition performed at the Stazione di Topolo annual international telematic concert, and Music for 22 Email Machines, performed by the Concordia Laptop Orchestra in Montreal. He is the founder of objetsonore.com, and is working towards a BFA in Electroacoustic Studies at Concordia University, Montreal.
