Joshua Atkins received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland in 2011. His research interests include spatial audio capture and recreation, multi-microphone speech enhancement, and psychoacoustics. He currently leads the audio and speech signal processing research group at Beats Electronics in Santa Monica, CA.
