David Moran

David Moran is an audio journalist with special interest in loudspeakers. He was audio editor and music critic for the Boston Phoenix during the 1970s and worked for dbx engineering through the 1980s. Since then he has measured and reviewed loudspeakers for several magazines, most recently Linear Audio. Moran has received NEA fellowships for classical criticism, edited a classical music encyclopedia, and has written about music for the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Stereo Review, and online for the Boston Musical Intelligencer.
