Warren Osse

Warren started in electronics (tube radios & TVs) very young and then proceeded to study as an EE in college and trained in classical music. These dual passions brought him into audio electronics and sound synthesis. Warren has been involved in audio since the mid 1970’s and has worked in several aspects of that field including work for a major consumer electronics company. He has taught fiber optics and copper communication cabling professionally while practicing same in the field.
He has worked in commercial audio/visual system integration for 15+ years, currently in system design for Vistacom, Inc. He holds an advanced certification (InfoComm CTS-D) in that field as well as many certifications for various communications technology.
As data magnitudes have become large, fiber optics is the natural progression of cabling for infrastructure and the future of audio transportation; this has led to an emphasis on this technology for Warren and a current career focus. He is one of the founding members of the AES Fiber Optics for Audio technical committee.
